YouthSpring recognizes it is our fundamental responsibility to provide a comprehensive program structure. Our facility and program are designed to maximize opportunities for patients to obtain and participate in the services we provide; and for our staff members to deliver best-practice treatment care management services.
Through our structured day program there are a wide variety of services offered geared toward the need of the individual. These include individual and family therapy, core group therapy, academic assistance, electives, and personal reflection. During their stay at YouthSpring each person is given the chance to understand his/her specific behavioral challenges and discover their personal growth.
All clients receive a 2 hour Core Group Monday through Friday ran by a Licensed Clinician covering Anger Management, Coping Skills and Trauma, Decision Making, Self Esteem and Self Image, DBT Skills Training. Children come to YouthSpring with varying challenges, histories and hopes for themselves; these core groups were designed to allow our clients to not only acquire new skills, but to practice them, receive support and offer to support to others.
All clients will sign up for a 2 hour Elective Group Saturday and Sunday ranging from Art, Creative Writing, Book Club, Gardening, Health and Fitness and Nutrition. Elective groups are one of the many ways for clients to personalize their experience while here at YouthSpring.
Each level within YouthSpring’s level system outlines responsibilities and expectations of the child as well as the privileges he or she may have. To move from one level to the next a child must demonstrate reasonable behavioral stability for a defined period of time, complete a set of skills appropriate to their level within the program and complete treatment projects designed to help them master goals and objectives on their treatment plan.
Our clinical staff uses Best Practices as outlined in the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Evidence Based Treatment Models as core components to treatment including:
With a wide array of treatment modalities, we are able to ensure that services are truly person centered and we are better able to tailor services to meet the needs of the clients and families we serve.
